Dongguan Commodity Expo Kicked off Online This Sept. 8th

Hosted by the Changping Town Government, this Sept. 8th, the 7-day online event of Dongguan (Changping) Commodity Expo successfully kicked off with 159 local enterprises showcasing 805 premium products, covering everything from electrical appliances, toys, machinery, hardware, to plastic products, housewares, fashion, and so forth.
Over 300 people attended the event’s offline opening ceremony, including Mr. Luo Huanghao, Deputy Mayor of Dongguan City, Mr. Zhu Mohe, Major of Changping Town, Mr. Liu Yuchang, Party Committee Secretary of Changping Town, as well as delegates from trade associations, exhibiting enterprises, buyer companies, and so on.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, many enterprises have been under great strain with decreased orders. To break the time and space barriers for commodity trade and transaction, the local government purposed this online trade gathering.
“Dongguan is going through a strong economic recovery from the pandemic, in which the digital economy is playing a big role,” commented Mr. Luo Huanghao, “The staging of this online expo is intended to expedite the digitalization of different sectors and promote the high-quality development of Dongguan’s economy.”
