Stainless steel PH13-8Mo(XM-13,S13800) is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel capable of high strength and hardness along with good levels of resistance to both general corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking. In addition, the alloy exhibits good ductility and toughness in large sections in both the longitudinal and transverse directions. Stainless steel 13-8Mo has been used for valve parts, fittings, cold-headed and machined fasteners, shafts, landing gear parts, pins, lock washers, aircraft components, nuclear reactor components and petrochemical applications requiring resistance to stress-corrosion cracking.
Standard: ASTM A564, A705, A693.
We offer the materials PH13-8Mo(XM-13,S13800) in form of stainless steel round rod, stainless steel square bar, stainless steel hexagon bar, stainless steel wire rod, stainless steel forging, stainless steel flat strip, stainless steel forged cylinder, stainless steel forged sleeves, stainless steel forged rings, stainless steel forged tube sheet.
As per the customer’s request, Stainless steel PH13-8Mo(XM-13,S13800) will be furnished in various heat treatments such as Condition A, Condition H950, H1000, H1025, H1050, H1100, H1150 and H1150M. The mechanical properties are altered by different age hardening treatments.
