As for our next expansion project of the company operation, we have planned to market Chinese / Taiwan Motorcycles soon in the country and as such good, reputed, prospective Chinese / Taiwan Motorcycle manufacturers are invited to contact us with your full details such as company background, Joint Venture partners, company strength, Models available, compatibility with Japanese model parts, warranty period, price of the motorcycles, after sales facilities, availability of the models and the spare parts, prices of the parts, Minimum order qty, etc.
Initially, we are planning to market mopeds and motorcycles starting of 50 cc upto 125 cc capacities and wish to market them under our own name.
Kindly offer your best prices for the above mentioned capacity of motorcycles and mopeds in complete condition. Further, you may send us your separate prices for the semi knocked down basis (SKD) of the same models for us to determine which type is more advantageous. Further kindly inform us that how many motorcycles will be for one container if we are to import complete motorcycles and if it is SKD, components for how many motorcycles for a container.
Kindly indicate the freight rate separately.
This will be our first stage of the new project and based on the success of the stage one (on quality, price and the relationship with the Chinese / Taiwan manufacturer); we have planned to go in to the huge Indian Market too as the second stage. As Sri Lanka has signed a free trade agreement with India, the products manufactured or assembled (with 35% local value addition) products exporting from Sri Lanka is exempted from Indian duty and has become competitive in prices again with Indian motorcycles.
