Silicon refractory mortar（Siliceous mud）is mainly used in building Hot Blast furnace, Carbonization chamber of coke oven and molten pool and roof of glass furnace etc.There are different requirements in the physical and chemical properties to different kinds of kiln and different parts in the kiln. For example, for Hot blast furnace the content of SiO2 should be more than 94% and refractoriness of getting soft under load at 0.2 Mpa should be between 1600 ℃and 1620 ℃. . For Glass furnace the content of SiO2 is 94% to 96% and the refractoriness of getting soft under load at 0.2 Mpa is 1600 ~ 1620 ℃, . For coke oven the content of SiO2 is 85% - 92% and the refractoriness of getting soft under load at 0.2 Mpa is 1420 - 1500 ℃.
