We live in one of a block of town houses that were originally finished wih bon coat on all exterior walls ( the walls are tilt slab concrete ) As i understand the bon coate was to give an ageing mediterain look as time went by, It did in fact exactly that, and was a look we were personally pleased with. Because the units are controlled by a body corporate, the owners decided we needed to repaint. Much to our dissaproval the units were painted over with a water based acrylic even though the body corp rules stated they were to be repainted when required wth the same product Bon Coat. The result is now after 4 years the acrylic paint is peeling away from the original bon coat. Any suggestions on how we rectify this situation. Kind Regars, John Falconer.
