SHF leads the way in manufacturing bi-polar plates for the PEM (Proton exchange membrane) and Direct Methanol fuel cell industries. We do not have any fixed mold for manufacturing the plates and the customers have a flexible choice, all the products that we made are according to the customersÂ’ design and requirements.

Fuel cells have been gaining broader exposure with rising energy costs. They have been used in military and space exploration for years and are being developed into consumer use by major power and transportation companies. Every major automotive manufacturer has a fuel cell initiative operating. Fuel cells are efficient, producing energy from propane, natural gas, or hydrogen with water and heat as the only emissions. Proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells are comprised of a stack of 'bi-polar-plates' stacked together similar to a conventional battery. These plates are central to the function and efficiency of the cell and require critical material and technical specifications.
